Carbon Copy Demo Videos
Looking at all of the knobs and features of a guitar pedal is one thing, but hearing how it actually sounds is another matter. That's why I like to check out YouTube before I even bother driving over to the local guitar shop. Watching a few videos always gives me a very good idea of what the pedal sounds like. So for those of you that are interested in the MXR Carbon Copy, I've put together 5 of my favorite demo videos. Taken together, they show just about everything the Carbon Copy can do.
Guitar World Review
This is a 7 minute video review put together by Guitar World magazine. The playing examples are very appropriate and the video work is nice. There are zoom-in shots when they discuss the controls so that you can see what they are talking about.===> For The Best Price On The MXR Carbon Copy CLICK HERE <===
Pro Guitar Shop Demos
This is another very straightforward demo of the Carbon Copy. I like it better than the Guitar World demo because I like the actual guitar tones a little more. Again, the video is well shot so you can see what all of the knobs and controls do.
MXR Carbon Copy Trance
Now here's something completely different. This video show a guy using the Carbon Copy along with a looping device, in this case a Boss DD7 in hold mode. Basically what he does is put together a couple of heavily-delayed guitar loops and then solos over them. I guess he's calling it trance but whatever it is it has a nice vibe to it. A great example of how to use the Carbon Copy in a creative way.
MXR Carbon Copy Self Oscillation
These last two videos demonstrate the same thing in slightly different ways. In a true analog delay pedal, if you set the Regen and Delay knobs to the correct combination you can force the pedal into self-oscillation. It's a very cool effect. These two videos do a very good job demonstrating what this sounds like.So there you have it. After watching these five video demos you should have a very good idea of what the MXR Carbon Copy analog delay pedal is all about.
